Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

Plus, our guides are well-trained and absolutely love what they do. You’ll get a hoot out of them as much as they get a hoot out of running this river.

Our family booked the half day rafting trip in Durango on July 31st and Robbie was our guide. We do not have enough praise to offer him for his excellent knowledge of the river, directions he provided us and the other family aboard the raft and his personable, friendly nature. Robbie was a blast to have as a guide and if it’s possible to request him as your guide, we highly recommend that you do so. This rafting trip was part of a 2 week RV vacation around Colorado and was the highlight of our trip. The entire staff offered an excellent experience from beginning to end. We will definitely book another rafting trip with Mild 2 Wild when we make our way back to Durango!

We had a great time! The scenery was beautiful, and the water was great! Our guide John was super friendly and helped make it a fantastic experience!

My wife and 12 year old grandson had a blast; very fun half day through Durango. The guide staff was fun and knowledgeable. Special thanks to our guide, Don (Captain Jack).
