You’ll catch plenty of splashes while getting to sit back and relax on this free-flowing Rocky Mountain river.

Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

Plus, our guides are well-trained and absolutely love what they do. You’ll get a hoot out of them as much as they get a hoot out of running this river.

Our family had the absolute best day kayaking with Mild 2 Wild - they truly are the best in the business- Conor and Konrad were incredible and our entire family loved the trip down the animas - our kids will be talking about this trip for months - if you’re considering a rafting or kayak trip do yourself a favor and book it with Mild2Wild they’re amazing. We’re already talking about the next adventure with them.

The water was great, the company was fantastic and our guide was amazing. He navigated the river like the pro he was and allowed us to take the oars when we were in calmer waters. Our guide was Informational and knowledgeable about the river, Durango, and historical points along our float. He made the difference between a good experience and a great experience. He was funny and engaging and made sure we were safe and having a great time. The only thing that would have made it better is if we had seen a whale. 🙃
