Half-Day Retractable Glass Top Tour in Rocky Mtn National Park

Experience a taste of life at Rocky Mountain National Park, on this tour you will do it all. You will travel up above the trees, over two miles above sea level. You will get to take a short hike or two and see fast flowing snow melt, waterfalls, and glaciers. Come and experience the awe inspiring beauty that is Rocky Mountain National Park, or “Rocky” as the locals call it. Our knowledgeable guide will give you an in depth guided tour telling you all about the science and history of Rocky and its animals. This tour travels up the famous Old Fall River Road. We will take a half-way break at the Alpine Visitor Center(closed during PM tour), which is the highest altitude visitor center of any national park. Upon leaving the Alpine Visitor Center you will journey across Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in North America, reaching the highest point on the road at 12,183’. Coffee, hot drinks, and cold refreshments as well as a variety of snacks are provided while on board.

Can not recommend this tour enough. Well worth it. Our tour guide Brian was top notch and extremely knowledgeable about the park. We made stops at all the key spots along the route and took time to do short hikes and photos. I have so many great photos from the park, a heard of elk, etc. Brian did everything he could do to identify points of interest. We went all the way to the top at the Alpine Visitor Center via the one way dirt road then back down via the two way paved road. They had everything you need on the bus. Blankets, binoculars, snacks, water, and other drinks.

What a great experience..beautiful views, wildlife, and a bit of history. We traveled with the glass top off until the colder, rainy weather moved in. The host was informative, accommodating and made sure we had an outstanding day. We highly recommend this tour. The best we’ve experienced by far!

The sheer beauty of Colorado and RMNP! Our tour guide Zac was excellent and very knowledgeable. We had some youngsters that were a bit nervous about the heights and Zac reassured them they would be ok. We had a great time. Now, unfortunately, my wife won’t go near the edge of a mountain for a photo op.
