I took this ride with my six-year-old daughter, as she didn't weigh enough to go on the rafting ride. We had such a great time. Our tour guide, Hannah (nicknamed Peaches) was so friendly and even let my daughter sit in the back of the boat with her and learn how to steer! It was all my daughter would talk about. The ride was about an hour and half and it was a nice day to just float down the river. The other guides, Brock and Orion were also fun and we all had a great time. We did the ride on July 31. We didn't know what day would work for us, so we did not have reservations in advance, but we called that day and took what was available. The staff was organized and we felt everything went smoothly. My other family members really enjoyed their 1/2 day raft ride as well.

My husband and I took the half day Scenic Raft Trip this week and had a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and lots of fun to be with. We are older, I am 76 and the trip was easily accomplished and I would do it again in a heart beat.

We took the, “scenic” float - FABULOUS! Hanna was our guide and not only was she fun & enthusiastic, but so knowledgeable about the river and GNP in general. We encountered a few “baby” rapids that were so great. We would paddle a bit, and then she’d tell us to stop throughout the tour. It was quite warm & my husband got to jump into the crystal clear beautiful water!! Also got a view of a bald eagle. I highly recommend this excursion and if you can get Hanna as your guide, it’s a bonus!
