This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

We did the afternoon session, which worked out great. The weather was perfect. Mark was our tour guide and we had a fantastic experience. A good option for beginners, but we actually would’ve liked a little more rapids! Now we know we can take it up a notch next time Saw some amazing sites. Highly recommend, definitely well worth it!

The most amazing experience with amazing people. Erika, Ken, and Chilly were pleasant, fun & informative. They made us beginners feel comfortable and capable and it was a blast!! GO HERE! Worth it 100%

We had a great afternoon with this company. From start to finish it went off without a hitch. Our guide was very insightful and very helpful.her name is Eadie. The bus trip down into the gorge was something else for Non mountain folks like us. But the views are extreme. We choose this level 2 and 3 because we had a 3 year old with us. She lives every bit and even jumped off a 7 foot side of a cliff into the freezing water as her parents also jumped off of the 30 for cliff above her. A great day out well worth the. Money and tine. These guys work hard so don’t forget to help them out at the end. I was very appreciative that they did not suggest tips as they were all very professional but that shouldn’t prevent anyone from helping them out. We came up hey 9 from breck and it took us 65 minutes. Easy drive up and we even saw a black bear On one of the bridges that were build for the animals on our return hone to Breck. We saw two bald eagles on the trip down river as well the Cargill’s.
