During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. Learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding area from your naturalist guide, and enjoy a snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

Please bring the following items: sun protection, light shirt, bathing suit, footwear for the beach (tabis, aqua socks or tennis shoes), towel and change of clothes
Please include your choice of lunch: Ham, Turkey, Veggie or Peanut butter jelly
EACH CHILD 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Guests much be comfortable in the ocean. Smaller waves during certain times of the year.

This was a phenomenal experience! Everyone backed out on the tour except for us, but our guide, Harrison, showed up with a great attitude after what he said was a hectic morning. He is so knowledgeable on Kauai culture, plants, history, bugs, and really anything else you could want to know. It felt like hanging out with a friend! He was interested in what we wanted to get out of the experience and ensured we had that opportunity. He is an amazing guide, but also just a fun guy to spend half a day with! The sea kayaking portion is brief and as long as you follow his lead, there should be no issue. Could not recommend more!

Aloha Tara, Harrison does it again, i.e. wins over clients who want to take him home. Seriously, your guide Harrison brings to the table a real competence on the water, be it river or ocean coupled with a great personality backed up with a real love and knowledge of the culture in legend and lore. Aloha Laura, Hard to say who your guide was for if I may share, all of our guides are ono….i.e. fun, safe and informed. The Hanalei Blue Lagoon is a nice intro to paddling with some gentle river paddling and a wee bit more challenging ocean paddling within the Pu'u Poa barrier reef. Thanks for sharing.
