During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. Learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding area from your naturalist guide, and enjoy a snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

Please bring the following items: sun protection, light shirt, bathing suit, footwear for the beach (tabis, aqua socks or tennis shoes), towel and change of clothes
Please include your choice of lunch: Ham, Turkey, Veggie or Peanut butter jelly
EACH CHILD 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Guests much be comfortable in the ocean. Smaller waves during certain times of the year.

The laid back vibe was perfect for us especially cause we were late! Our guide Annie was amazing and let us enjoy snorkeling and swimming as long as we wanted.

We went with Koa who provided the entire group with a safe, informative, fun, and unbelievably beautiful morning into early afternoon. The lunch was perfect, the paddling on the river and out into the ocean was fun, and the value for the money was excellent! Would highly recommend for any and all who have some minimal physical fitness (emphasis on minimal). You do enter and exit in surf which I could see might be problematic for someone with mobility issues. Great way to spend part of a day on Kauai!

Aloha Alan, Our Hanalei Blue Lagoon paddle and snorkel is one of our best kept secret. The Hanalei panoramic background competes with the majestic Na Pali coast both above and below water in beauty. Thanks for warning some that there can be Surf at times. The Blue Lagoon tour is perfect for the active couple or family. Thanks for sharing and will share with your guide Koa. Ahui hou, Micco

After being confused about meeting point, we connected with guide Jay and his crew. Our family of seven were joined by an adult family of four from Austria! Jay was terrific in working with our family of 4 adults and three young ones, 12, 8, and 5. Made everyone comfortable for us rookies. After a few minutes of training on details of kayak paddling, safety, we proceeded up river for about an hour. Some were able to see a sea turtle on the way. After going back down the river to ocean, proceeded out into open water along the coast for another half mile and at least an hour going against wind and current. Great workout! Landed at a small beach for some lunch provided by Jays team. Good sandwiches, fresh cut pineapple, chips, cookies and drinks. Took about 45 minutes of snorkel time off the beach and were able to observe sea turtles eating off the coral! Amazing experience! After the snorkel, loaded back into the kayaks and headed back to our landing area. Great day for all! Be sure and bring sun screen and sun shirts! And tips for the crew! Best time ever!

Aloha Ron, You should write review for a living! Your review really give folks an idea of what's involved for the active family. The turtle/honu is the company logo; we go slow but take the time to enjoy the panorama both above and below the surface. Jay is definitely a "family man".
