We had an amazing time on our 3 hour paddling tour!! We paddled out to one of the twin islands, surfed waves in our canoe, and swam in the Queen's bath on the island. Jace was our tour guide and was great. John joined us for surfing and it was by far one of the most fun things that we've done in Hawaii. Highly recommend!!

We went on the 8AM Hawaiian Canoe Paddling Adventure to Mokulua with 2 guides. Both guides were very skilled at canoe paddling which made us feel safe. Kawelo is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and he shared a lot of interesting information about Hawaiian culture and traditions and canoe paddling. He also taught us about why it is important the birds on the island are able to use it as a breeding ground and the importance of the birds to the Hawaiian fisherman. We were given a tour of the island and after a little climbing on the rocks, we reached the queen's bath where we all took turns jumping in. Then we made the short hike back down to the beach and had a little time to swim while admiring the beauty of the whole place. We were fortunate to have a turtle surface close to us when we were swimming. The island is beautiful especially if you get there before all the kayakers. We enjoyed taking pictures and our guides were happy to take some family photos for us. We asked our guides if we could do a little canoe surfing on the way back and they made sure we caught a couple of waves despite the fact that the surf was calm that day. It does take some effort to paddle especially when trying to canoe surf so you will get a work out if you paddle correctly. However if you are not the strongest paddler it is ok because the whole group paddles together. Overall it was a really fun and interesting trip and one of our favorite experiences during our trip to Hawaii. The trip leaves from Kailua Beach Park which is beautiful in itself and Lanikai Beach which is also very beautiful is right next to it. We definitely recommend you sign up for the 8AM Canoe Paddling Trip to Mokulua and then spend the rest of the day visiting the nearby beaches.

Highlight of our Oahu trip!! We went out with a Hawaiian married couple that clearly have outrigger paddling in their blood. They were so kind, knowledgeable & showed/told us so many cool things about the Hawaiian waters, culture & land. We even did some surfing! I booked this tour when I realized Waikiki's outrigger surfing was fully booked during our trip & we absolutely could not have been luckier. I will recommend this company & the 3-hour outrigger paddling trip to anyone!!
