My wife and I went for the ghost walk. Our guide, Brian, met us on the designated corner at 7:45 for the 8 pm walk. We set off on our way after some brief history of the island, the great storm of 1900 and other calamities such as war and disease which would explain the high concentration of ghosts haunting the island. Okay! Spooky mood set! We moved from building to building, block to block, hearing chilling stories pertaining to different ghosts inhabiting the neighborhood. It was fun! Brian has great energy and personality, engaging us and sending shivers up my spine more than once with a particularly spooky anecdote. We were occasionally visited and followed around by a black cat which may or may not be entirely of this world and the not-too-distant lightning added to the mood (I can't promise the appearance of either of those things). It was our first ghost walk and we had a great time. The stories alone, whether they be fact, fiction or folklore are worth the price and Brian did a great job in the telling.

Welcome to the wonderful world of ghost tours! We hope you're hooked. And you'll take ghost tours and every city that you'll visit. Ryan certainly knows his stuff. Spence many an hour in the library but trying to make it stores as interesting as possible. Paranormal activity on the island is so frequent that I think Allison has to be the most haunted place in America we hope you enjoyed your trip to Galveston and that we'll see you again very soon
