The Historic Galveston Ghost Tour was an ok tour. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I could hear the guide speak. He didn't have a microphone so I couldn't hear everything he said. He had to yell to tell the story and sometimes, depending on the direction he was facing, I couldn't hear everything that was said. A microphone would have helped. I've been on many ghost tours and I really enjoy it when I can hear the story, especially when they use a microphone.
We went on the 10pm tour. Our guide was a bit hyper/wired. He was drinking a can of Monster while on the tour, which probably explains his hyperness. He told the stories well. He was just.... hyper.
Would have been good for him to bring a flashlight or laser pointer to point out the areas in the buildings/houses that he was talking about. That way we know where to look as he's telling the story.
Check in, Check out process was easy. No issues/complaints.
Cost was $20/person. Decent price I suppose for a hour and 1/2 tour. There is another ghost tour for $15, same amount of time. I wanted that one but they were full.
All in all, it was a fun experience.

Well I'm glad you had a good time. Unfortunately out of consideration and courtesy to our neighbors we don't use a microphone because people are living in the houses we pass by. Sometimes by the third tour of the night the guides want to make sure they're just as excited about giving the tour as they were at 6:00. Sometimes stage fright enters into it a little bit as well. All in all we're glad you had a good time we hope to see you again soon. And thank you for taking the time to write and for your suggestions
