My family of 18 signed up for this adventure as part of an Alaskan Cruise on July 9, 2019. Our group was split and half of us were assigned to go with Matt (big guy with a beard and long ponytail) It was obvious from the start that he was bored and didn't want to take another group panning for gold. His first comment on the bus was that the lecture was boring and he didn't want to give it again. He said if we had questions he would answer them. His gold panning demonstration was marginal and little help was given to those in our group, especially to the young children who were so excited to participate in this activity. We felt very rushed so we could be the first to get to the salmon bake. Matt made the comment that he didn't care who got back on the bus as long as he had 27 bodies. His attitude was terrible. He was more interested in talking about his girlfriend and himself than sharing the history of this beautiful area. On a positive note, the salmon bake was delicious, especially where so many people were accommodated. The setting was beautiful and we very much enjoyed this part of the adventure.

I am so sorry you had that experience. I will address your concerns with Matt and the company as a whole. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
