Embark on a small-group, 3-hour whale watching and wildlife sightseeing tour from Hoonah, Alaska in our custom built vessels with heated cabins and restroom. Every season humpback whales come in large numbers to Hoonah to feed on the nutrient-rich waters of Glacier Bay and Icy Strait before migrating south again for the winter. The whale population begins to arrive in Hoonah in May, and stays through September.

This was a terrific whale, watching tour with plenty of sightseeing. We saw bears off in the distance, a floating otter, killer whales that we watched for a good 20 minutes and giant humpback whales. We got up close and personal. It was better than expected. The captain is also very knowledgeable about all things. Very comfortable ship to watch From as well

The captain was very knowledgeable and provided so many interesting facts about the area, the whales, the sea lions, and the otters. There were several children on the tour and he was extremely patient and provided them guidance to keep everyone safe. He and his assistant knew were to find the whales and he delivered.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT AND EXCELLENT. Capt Denise and her Marine Biologist assisted were full of incredible facts. They made the trip so much fun for all to experience. A must attend when in Hoonah.
