Decided to come here as part of NY explorer attraction passes. Superb day out with so much to see and do. Concorde, all the planes, the sub etc. All really interesting and brilliantly presented. Would love to come back and visit again from the UK.

This is a museum what you will not find in every town. Aircraft carrier, space shuttle, submarine, a Concorde and lot of military aircraft. It is fun with kids but you will also like it if you are interested in either engineering, aviation, space exploration, ships or military history.

Being on the deck of the Intrepid was fun. Walking around all the planes was great. The space exhibit was very interesting. Seeing how the space shuttle came about was very interesting. If seeing all the different planes was not enough, then should go down in the submarine. It is amazing how people could live in something so cramped. You will get a real feel for how sailors live on submarines. There are many photo opportunities and a snack shock. A good place to spend the day with the kids.
