Very nice experience, enjoyed to see the history of America and meet ex-navy staff to explain and give instruction of how things was working. In general was a good experience although one I didn't like was that I wasn't able to a picture with my 360 professional camera. A security on the top of the deck said is for safety reasons, it was no busy and the selfie stick was not even 1 meter high, it was the smaller one as my camera can have it all, unreasonable request the space is open I was away from the planes, in fact in the middle of all airplanes. Seriously before you go prepare your self if you have an action camera and you want to do the same. I suggest you advise the people before the booking so we know in advance. I would have bring a different camera if I knew, so I was disappointed I didn't get the video and photos I wanted. As I said it has to be mentioned when you book tickets.

If you are slightly interested in the history of wars and navy and airforce then you will find this interesting. The exhibits were interesting and well laid out - mixture of videos, pictures and stories was good and kept me interested with some of the stories about the actual wars the ship was involved in too. We spent so long exploring the Intrepid and the planes on it we were running out of time so had to only do a quick visit to the space shuttle and never made the submarine so can't comment on that. It was a pity that Concorde is not there presently as would have loved to see that. Even so this kept us interested for far longer than I thought it would.
