Time very well spent! From the very beginning to the evening's completion, the feeling was warm and cozy. The greeters and those who directed the line of guests were so peaceful and welcoming. They greeted us with a pretty shell lei and provided an opportunity to purchase flower lei as well. Next, they took our family photo in front of a vivid, ocean-like Hawaiian Quilt backdrop. We sat far from the stage, yet we could see the stage very well. At the beginning, they invited us to learn to dance the hula to the song "Hukilau". So fun!!! It was like we the large crowd of guests were a huge family from different reaches of the world, learning to dance a fun song together. The food was scrumcious, and there was plenty for everyone. We were surprised with the yummy flavor of the Kona Coffee Barbecue Chicken. Oh my goodness! All the food was mouth-watering ono-licious! The waitstaff was very kind and gentle. My family and I could carry on a conversation easily as we dined, with the beautiful serenades of the Hawaiian musicians on-stage. The show, excellently narrated by a remarkably warm emcee, was grandiose and educational. The costumes and colors were so beautiful. The emcee and dancers radiate with such strength, skill, and smiles! The show included continual interaction with the spectating crowd. When the fun-filled show came to its finish, we next had photo opportunities with the dancers, who represented various locations in Polynesia. I asked one of the banquet workers to take our group photo for us. He was so helpful and hilarious. I am sorry that I do not have his name. We loved our experience at the Island Breeze Luau, and in a heartbeat, would recommend it to you.
