We’ve attended Luaus on Oahu and Maui and we’re excited to attend our first one on the Big Island. Set on the grounds of the Marriott, there is a large parking lot with available spots. Get there early as it’s on a pretty busy intersection at rush hour. Photos are taken inside in front of a backdrop which was kind of different given the outdoor beauty of the Island. Several pre-show things to see but not as many activities as we’ve come to expect from other shows. Dinner is served right on the water so amazingly beautiful sunset for photos. The staff and host were friendly- very efficient in dismissing table by table for the buffet so no long waits.

The show was ok. I’ve been to better. The food was good though. I wasn’t happy to learn I had to pay for parking when my email confirmation stated it was free with validation. When I mentioned it, the lady just shrugged her shoulders.

So interesting! This was my favourite excursion (and I did lots of them!) First class all the way. So much better than I hoped. Plenty of details here about the food, locale etc. so to the show: premium live entertainment--music, dancers, singers, host, fire dancer were all top notch. Do this before anything else! Absolutely would repeat.
