Aperçu
The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Does not include any food
  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
  • You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

Every single person I had contact with was so helpful and nice You can tell they all love their jobs and take pride in what they do! Shout out to Dave Hansen for fostering that environment. Dorothy our bus driver is a legend! So full of knowledge and kindness. Delaney our guide is an absolute boss lady! 4 out of 5 of us were newbies and she made us all feel safe and confident while still having a total blast! Keeping doing what you do sooo well, Delaney - you rock!

With this review being for my first whitewater experience, I had no idea what to expect. The staff, bus driver, and everyone were exceptional. Our guide, Bryce, was so amazing my best friend said she's naming her next child after him. We did the 8-man raft 2-hour experience and I would do it a million times over. Dave Hansen Whitewater was knowledgeable, safe, and incredibly fun!

This was really fun, River is beautifull, saw Bald Eagles, Osprey. River was low and we never felt like we were in serious danger. Emmelin was super fun and it was nice to talk with someone who had grown up in the area. Process was super streamlined and everyone had a fabulous time.
