Aperçu
The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Does not include any food
  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
  • You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

We had a great time rafting with Dave Hansen Rafting! Our guide, Lauren, was very friendly and knowledgeable! Everything from the staff on the phone booking to the bus driver was a very seamless process.

We had an awesome experience from beginning to end! Dorothy’s local color commentary in the bus ride, Lauren’s fun-centered and safety-first approach was perfect. We rode the waves, saw eagles, ospreys, and the beautiful rocks and trees of the Snake Canyon. This is a must-do for a full Teton adventure!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and guides. the trip was a great experience sand super fun. We would do the trip again if we had more time here! Definitely take the 8 man boat!
