Aperçu
The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Does not include any food
  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
  • You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

Such a fun journey down the Snake river with my husband and 12 year old son. Brian was our guide and he was a lot of fun. Felt completely safe and enjoyed all the excitement. We were in a smaller boat and it was a blast. Get on out there and have some fun!

Our guide Bryce took great care of us and the the rapids were high! So much fun! Bryce is the best from beginning to end it was a blast. You can tell he knows what he is doing and he kept us safe and certainly entertained!

I am a large lady and was so nervous about the possibility of having to wear a wetsuit but they had one that fit me (the water was about 52 degrees so wetsuits were highly recommended). Anyway, the wetsuit fit and we were on our way. Dorothy, the bus driver gave us a lot of information about the area as we drove to the boat launch. The team helped us get into our life vests and then we were on a small boat with Miles. He was a great guide and we had so much fun! We wished it was longer. Just a note for others that may not be in great shape. At the end of the trip you have to walk a long way up a hill to get back to the bus. If you think you may not be able to make this climb, tell your guide or bus driver before you get into the boat and they will make arrangements for you. I didn’t know this, but was able to EVENTUALLY make it up the hill.
