The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.

3rd time we have rafted with Dave Hansen and they never disappoint. Our guide, Bryce, was awesome and took us on a great ride!

From the moment we arrived at the center, we were enthusiastically and warmly welcomed by everyone we came in contact with. We opted for the whitewater small boat slam and had an absolute blast! Our guide Zack was extremely knowledgeable and so much fun! He was quick to answer all of our questions about rapids, he pointed out lots of wildlife, and he was really enthusiastic without being cheesy. We felt completely confident in his abilities as a guide, he brought our group together in camaraderie, he gave us loads of fun and we were comfortable in his ability to keep us safe. He gave us an incredible afternoon on the Snake River and when he said we were approaching our last rapid for the day, my fiancé and I audibly groaned in disappointment, we loved every second and wished the trip could’ve gone on longer. When we arrived back at the center, they were awarding bracelets to those who had jumped into the river for a quick swim and patches for the kids who made it to Junior Guide status! (I found myself wishing I was kid lol). Whether you’ve got children or not, this place provides the perfect experience. We will absolutely return to Dave Hansen for all future rafting adventures when visiting Jackson, and we’ll hope we get Zack every time!

What a blast! Most of us had white water rafted before, but the Snake River & our fantastic guide, McKenzie made this all of our favorite. East access to the river & easy getting off. Dave Hansen has a fantastic system. Don't hesitate to book this!
