57
59
Sentier Cap Rock
68
Promenade des étoiles de Palm Springs
Écarte-toi, Hollywood !

We were gobsmacked with how beautiful this national Park is. Using the self-driving Action Tour Guide app, we had a tour guide narrating our entire 3 hour drive through the park. With GPS it guided us the entire way, sharing history, trivia, and information about what we were seeing. Highly recommend for either driving thru the park or stopping to hike the trails. Also recommend buying your park pass online to beat the lines. We simply showed our QR code from our phone and we were on our way.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m delighted that my tour of Joshua Tree added to your learning and that you enjoyed it. I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.

A must see experience when in the area. You definitely feel transported into another world. It a park you can spend 2-3 hours just driving through or a full/multiple days hiking along the trails. Suggest bringing a camera, good shoes and making it a leisurely day. Just driving through you will wish you’d planned the time. To related recommendations - stop at the Joshua Tree welcome/cultural center. Super helpful. Tell them how long you have and they can help you with the most important sites and route. Also I purchased an audio tour guide for $15, an app from Action Tour Guide (ATG). When driving through the park it knows your geo-position and fills you in on related information about the park; history, geology, sites. Download the tours ahead of time as cell service is minimal. A good day!!

We enjoyed having this audio tour in the background as we drove through the park. We learned a few things along the way and it helped us make sure we were following the correct roads to certain sites since we didn't have data inside the park. The tour works perfectly offline as long as you download it beforehand so we felt like we were in good hands during the trip.
