Really interesting and a great way to explore Juneau and learn some of the history at your own place - and see a few things you probably wouldn’t otherwise. It’s important you follow the instructions when you first buy the tour to download the app and get the right tour ready and saved to your phone, don’t leave it until you want to start the tour. It was easy to do and the instructions were clear - I didn’t have any issues. The tour is well put together and the tech is clever, the narrator gives you directions and then waits until you reach the next waypoint before continuing the story - so you never get behind. Very cost effective for a decent tour

The Walkn tour app does not work. I downloaded the content before the cruise. Could not open the app on the cruise or on land. Wasted my purchase. No need to buy this thing at all, there are plenty of information at the Visitor Center.

The Russian church was great! Downloaded the walk well in advance so no technical problems. The tour took us to places we would otherwise have missed (like that church) and gave a lot of interesting background information. Definitely would recommend it. Also recommend downloading individual copies and using earphones. We did not and the phone’s speakers were often drowned out by the street noise, especially in the first part of the tour.
