The bluffs and the fields of crops were beautiful. We had very nice accommodations and while we did not need support, it really gave me peace of mind to have it!

We were four of us doing this tour in May 2022. We actually did the 7-day self guided tour. Adding the extra day allowed us to reduce our daily mileage average and also to see Columbia, Missouri. I really enjoyed the ride into Columbia on the MKT Nature trail. And then we were on a city bike path that led us thru turns and tunnels and lots of fun. Columbia also has a great Public Library, Always a reliable place for cool air conditioning and free fast WiFi. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Even the record-breaking high temperatures didn't dampen our mood. We were thrilled we didn't get rained on. Luke from Crossroads bike tours was awesome. He promptly answered all my email questions before, during and after the trip. The bike rental folks he uses were also great. My husband forgot his prescription sunglasses outside on our very first day. Todd from the bike rental helped to find them and we had them returned to us. So grateful. Oh and don't miss out on the BEST ice-cream place in Jefferson City. It's called Central Dairy Ice Cream Parlor. Yummmm The Katy Trail has been on my bucket list for several years now. We had a great adventure. I completely recommend Crossroads bike tours for the Katy Trail and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again on any future tour. Their attention to detail is outstanding. Everything was taken care of. Luke provided us with our guidebook that gave our daily routes and details we needed for each leg of the journey. We kept that book handy thru out the miles! All our accommodations were also pre-arranged. All we had to do was ride and enjoy the hot showers and comfy beds at the end of each day! Ride the Katy trail. You won't be sorry. And use Crossroads bike tours! You will be even happier!

The ride was something special for a myriad of reasons. We live in the mountains of Colorado but you have to be blind not to see the beauty the Midwest offers. The history and the people we met along the way were a real treat. Our tour company, Crossroads Bike Tours, handled all of our logistics and hotel/BnB accommodations. All of the hotels were nice and a great welcome after riding 3-4 hours. Everything went very smoothly and there were absolutely no hiccups to interrupt our enjoyment. In fact, our ride got off to a rather rough start as we had a bike malfunction, ( brought our own bikes ) right after our van driver dropped us off in Clinton. The driver returned, fixed our bike and had us on the trail in no time. Can’t say enough positive remarks about this company!
