Had a blast and got to introduce my girlfriend to diving. Logan made it a very enjoyable trip and presented the training information well to the new divers. Totally recommend Logan as a master diver for new divers and refresher.

My wife and daughter did an introductory dive with Joel our instructor who was fantastic despite the terrible conditions that they tried to have a lesson in. However they never got very far because the conditions were so rough that none of the divers could get past the skills part at the start of the dive. So it resulted in all coming in because they couldn't get under the water. I think the company should revisit taking out beginners in these conditions. Later on Joel mentioned that they do introductory dives in the pool and I would recommend this for all of their beginner dives so that people who were in there for the first time are not freaked out by going out to these rough seas trying to learn how to scuba dive. To their credit they had canceled our lesson the day before because of rough seas, but they should have done the same thing today or offered us a dive in the pool to get started so they can go right under and miss out on all these rough seas. I would not recommend this company for beginners although our instructor Joel was fantastic. But there really wasn't anything he could do when he had four freaked out divers trying to teach them how to dive in these tough conditions.

This discover dive was the coolest experience ever. You get to experience scuba diving without the certification. We had a group of 13 teens and adults who all did it and had a blast! They pair you up with experienced and kind instructors to teach and guide you through the whole thing. At one point I got a little panicky and Riley (my instructor) held my hand and comforted me through it. I actually ended up tapping out early and Riley was so understanding and made me feel proud for going as far as I did. Everyone else had SUCH a great time and totally enjoyed seeing the fish and turtles. They saw 9 turtles, thousands of fish, tons of eels, etc. All 13 of us have even committed to getting certified because we loved it so much. The team from Kauai Down Under honestly made the experience what it was. Will, Katie, Riley and Joel are nice, funny, excited and energetic about life and diving. And we absolutely loved our time with them! Everyone should do this discover dive, you won’t regret it!

In speaking with Melissa during the booking process it sounded like you all were going to be a fun group as well. The team all said how much fun they had with your group and how easily you all took to the water and the experience. Kuddos to you for overcoming some of your fears and hesitation...Riley said you were so inspirational to push on through and that you will definitely go far in life with that quality! We are extremely passionate about what we do and thrilled that we could share that with your entire group!
