Excellent tour guides who really were excited to share their knowledge. But I think there was only 1 cave we went into, not 7.

The kayak tour was beautiful and we had so much fun! Our guide Roman was so sweet and was very knowledgeable, would definitely recommend to anyone coming to La Jolla!!

Their website does not disclose that this is a seasonal activity. I went with my two daughter, ages 13 and 16. We kayaked far into the ocean with the caves in the distance. They stopped occasionally to describe the cool creatures that live here and that we might get to see. The excitement is building! Then when we are getting closer to the caves, they explained that the waves are too high and that it isn't safe to go in them. We kayaked around aimlessly for a while and then headed back to shore. We saw no animals, except seagulls. On the way back to shore, the guide explained that in Winter and Spring it is rare to get in the caves. If you want to see them, you have to come in the Summer or Fall. Why didn't the website explain that? Why didn't the guides disclose that before we rowed way out to sea? They charge a lot to get a workout on the water! Then to top it off, one of the guides accidentally tipped my 16-year-old into the ocean after catching her kayak to bring her to shore. She was soaked. This was supposed to be the highlight of our visit to San Diego. We came to California for a competition and only had time for one activity of something else fun to do while we were there. This was very disappointing! Their website is misleading and does not disclose the real tour - which is just a lot of water. Not worth the price.
