Roger is a great tour guide. We took the turtle kayak snorkel tour. He likes to keep these groups small--seemingly no more than 12 people. We had 8 people total in our group. You must be fairly fit as you are in a 2 man kayak and have to use some muscles to kayak, sometimes against the wind. I would say that the kids have to be fairly fit as well and be good swimmers. Roger does a briefing at the beginning about how to get in and out of the kayak and how to use snorkel gear. He also showed us how to tie everything down, just in case the kayak tips over. He supplied life vests, clips for cameras and even sunglasses straps. He also gave everyone a plastic Ziploc to put anything you didn't want to get wet or leave in the car, and he carried it in his boat in a bag. You can rent a camera for $10. He supplied everyone with water and snacks (granola bars and pineapple). We had 2 stops where we saw lots of turtles. He even has a naturalist program for the kids. He shared a lot of interesting information about the marine wildlife. We also got to hear a recording of whales singing. Too bad it wasn't whale watch season for us. Anyways, Roger is a one man show (for now). Help support him by booking a tour with him. I highly recommend it.
