I'd like to leave a great review as others have but just didn't find this tour up to my expectations. The day was windy and I appreciated the communications on delaying the trip. But once we got there I found things rushed and a bit chaotic setting off. Some of that was on us as we missed the spot, had to turn around and struggled with parking. Wes was helpful in getting us parked. The majority of the group was familiar with kayaking so we were left to launch ourselves. We're not total novices but felt rushed to keep up and needed a moment to take stock. As such it was halfway through our trip before we learned our seats weren't correct and were uncomfortable. This could have been taken care with more individual attention at the launch. I don't know if we caught the guides on an off day but I was not impressed with Red's professionalism. He berated Wes in front of the customers, sometimes cursing at him. He never got the underwater microphone working. He was very helpful in getting people in and out of the water when tethered for snorkeling. But as we left again the guides communications broke down, with some released for the paddle back and others connected for "wind" protocol. This left me wondering if the wind was stronger if it could have been a safety concern. I was also disappointed in the camera I rented. While told to play the memory card in my computer it does not fit any port on any device in my house. I'm left to decide to buy a card reader in order to see the pictures. As it was it was quite difficult to see underwater even with the advice to change settings. I felt it was a waste of $20. I was excited to see a new corner of Maui but left a bit disappointed.
