Although this trip is conducted in Deception Pass State Park we avoid the turbulent water near the bridge which is more suitable for expert kayakers. My granddaughter and I did the 1.5hr kayak tour from Bowman Bay Boat Launch this afternoon. We had the best time. Jake, our tour guide was helpful, informative and just plain nice. I'm a novice kayaker who is over weight and over 60 with bilateral knee replacements but Jake assured me I would be fine and I was. This was my granddaughter Saffron's first try at kayaking and we had a great time and made life time memories. Thx Jake for making our experience exceptional!
