We have always loved this boat trip (despite lousy weather every time) since my husband first took me to his home state of Alaska in 1987. Viewing the sea life and glaciers never gets old. Kenai Fjords Tours does an excellent job of organizing, finding animals and getting the boat to the animals, providing narration and information, and providing a good lunch. Always bring your winter and rain gear. We lugged our winter coats for our entire 2 and 1/2 week trip in May knowing we'd need them for this tour (it was the only time we wore them and we needed them). We've gone in May, June, July and August, and always needed our cold weather coats, gloves and hats. On this trip we saw multiple "rafts" of sea otters, Stellar sea lions, puffins, orca, humpback whales, gray whale, and lots of harbor seals at the calving Aialik glacier.

I am a seasonal worker here at Kenai Fjords Tours and would recommend these tours to anyone. I take great pride in our company, staff and products. This season, I have gone on 4 tours so far and am blown away by wildlife, views and glacial activity EVERY SINGLE TIME! The hummus wraps and vegetarian options are rock solid. If you are looking for something to do in Seward this is the way to go!

We took the 6 hour trip with Prim Rib and Salmon lunch. Food was good, even enough for second. Our Ranger Robin had a wourld of knowledge about the land and sea life. The crew was great. The Captain did a great job worked with other cruise so we were able to see lots of sea life. Great time!
