Our boat tour with Kenai Fjords Tours was a highlight of our time in Seward. The boat is small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed with people and large enough that it feels safe. We had some bumpy water and our captain handled it wonderfully. We saw so many sea otters, orcas, birds, seals, and the calving glacier. It's a magical experience standing at the bow of the boat watching a huge glacier crash into the sea. Don't miss this if you are in Seward.

Magnificent & amazing scenery & wildlife! The staff are so professional & kept us informed on where the cruise was, what wildlife was spotted, the history, geography & explained the glaciers. Saw orcas, sea lions, otters, bald eagles, puffins, jumping silver salmon, swans. The ride was smooth until we entered the unprotected sections of Pacific Ocean but crew was very attentive & safety was a priority. The ocean colors are just so beautiful. The glaciers calving was incredible- no idea it sounded like thunder or gunshot before it calves into ocean. Chicken wrap was delicious & the cookies were too. Prepare for rain & sea spray - our rain jackets kept us dry the whole trip but we should have taken waterproof shoes & gloves. This trip is just out of this world!!! The best!!!

Everything with book and arrival was smooth. The boat updated and clean. Our captain did a great job of informing us about things as be passed by as well as the local wildlife we'd see out the windows. He made an excellent decision to take us slightly off course once he learned of a pod of humpback whales bubble netting in the area. He stayed there for an ample amount of time for pictures and viewing. Not only that, but he also made a slight diversion to see orcas as well. This alone sold our trip for us because of the unique he helped provide. Outside of wildlife, the scenery of the rocks, trees, and water was breathtaking as well. The lunch was a chicken wrap, chips, and cookies. Overall a great experience and fun way to spend the day.
