We also use the highest rated gear for our clients. Kenai Drift Anglers doesn't have a lodge with staff and many guides, we prefer to be small so we can meet your needs. When you fish with us, you actually fish with us. Many outfits will contract trips out because we get extremely busy. Awesome day of fishing! My Dad was visiting from Oklahoma so we wanted to do something special with him, my son (9 years old), and myself. We knew Scotty from our time skiing so we booked a trip on the Kasilof River (just south of the Kenai) to fish for Kings and reds. It had been a very slow year for kings but Scotty put my Dad on a huge fish (40-50 lbs) and did an expert job maneuvering the boat to land it. Afterward Scotty worked with my son on fly fishing and he caught a nice one. As a guide he is very good, but more importantly as a person who you would want to spend a day fishing with your family he is even better. Thanks for the memories!

I will not forget this day on the Kasilof River for King Salmon! In between King runs of the first and second run for King Salmon and really wasn't seeing much action from anybody that day or even that week. I was so glad the moment that rod got slammed and luckily we landed that beast of a King Salmon! Truly a very nice second run King salmon for the Kasilof River and what a fight that was. Dragging us to the side channel of the Kasilof, nice skills fighting that King and I hope to get you guys back on the river again! Thanks for the kind word! -Scotty

My dad took me fishing in Alaska for my birthday and it was the trip of a lifetime! Scotty was amazing from start to finish. He helped with our planning and made everything so easy. All we had to do was show up and start catching fish! :-) Scotty has a great personality and aims to please. Best trip I’ve ever been on fishing the Kenai! Scotty is an awesome guide. You won’t be disappointed going out on the boat with him. He had everything set up for us so well and let us in on every little detail and nuance from the time we step foot in the boat, until the time he had all our fish perfectly filleted on the bank of the river at the end of our day. From preparation, to where we were going, to proper techniques and tricks, we felt like it was a really inclusive trip and was truly an unforgettable experience. Plus we caught more fish than any other boat around us! If I could recommend a charter service on the Kenai to anyone, I’d tell them to go with Kenai Drift Anglers because you’ll leave with the fish you came for and an experience you will never forget! Dear Bradwebb24, Thank you for the kind words. I believe we are so successful here at Kenai Drift Anglers because we have the best clients. We don't take everybody, we make sure sustainability of the resource is our #1 concern. For example if Alaska Fish & Game has made an unethical decision to open the fishery we still recommend guest do ethical things like catch - release or keeping only what the client needs. With that said we had an incredible day on the water! It was slow in the morning. However, your patience paid off and the fish came in numbers!
