My wife and I signed up for a Duck Tour advertised and confirmed by the guide as lasting 90 min. We were cheated out of 30 min. After the Tour left 15 min. late, the guide reassured us we'd get the full 90. About an hour after leaving, the Duck boat returned to land and pulled into a shabby parking lot so the underside could be hosed off, which took another 15 min., while the passengers were "entertained" with jokes which were not funny in the least; some were offensive. When I spoke with the manager to complain, she issued a pro-forma, insincere apology and told me the boat maintenance is considered part of the 90-min. tour. She didn't even attempt to explain the other 15 min. we lost by leaving late. No compensation was offered.

Thank you very much for your candid review of your recent duck tour. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with every tour. I greatly appreciate your comments about aspects of the maintenance required, as it is part of the procedure to ensure safety for all guests which includes our safety brief that kicks off the tour. In taking great care of our duck (vessel) we continue to entertain while the duck is being sprayed down to rid is of salt water residue as well as checked for any debris that may have been caught on any portion of the duck. Our main priority is to be able to offer a very well-maintained vessel and comfortable atmosphere. I hope that I can convince you to change your mind about another visit on our tour.
