Jesse, Evan and Morgan did a wonderful job with the whale watching portion of this trip and it was fun. The second half on land had a lot to be desired. You could not hear John, our driver, discuss the particulars of what we were seeing or expecting as he was not miked and only the front row of the van knew he was talking. We spent way too much time waiting for a bear to come out of the woods, which did not happen, and was a total waste of time. We did not go to the crab farm and therefore were denied that experience. The Bar Harbor restaurant did not have a Dungeness Crab lunch waiting for us when we arrived. In fact they knew nothing about us being there or had crab on the menu. The owners of Eagle One are fine people but they did not live up to our expectations or deliver what was advertised and paid for.

Grady, I’m happy that you made a review. Just to make this a bit more clear. We did discuss what was involved with the ground portion of the tour. As for all wildlife we have no control over them. If they decide not to show up on that particular time then it’s all up to luck. As for the food you complained about. I did explain how the vouchers work. You can choose five different places to eat from. It’s up to you and your group to decide what to eat off the menus. One thing I do have to comment on, from the beginning of the time you booked the tour, you made it very difficult on our end. You canceled four people then were extremely rude when you didn’t get the refunded portion the same day. As I explained, refunds take more than an hour to be processed. After refunding you before you even took the tour, you had a very bad attitude.
People are mostly polite and happy when they show up on our tour. You sir were the complete opposite. I really feel sorry for the other operators you must have encountered on your vacation. Good luck going through life with that kind of out look.
