We arrived in the check-in about 8:45. We were waiting behind another family registering and we had to complete our on-line waiver forms, which We hadn’t been told about before hand.
The woman behind the desk then directed us to our boat. We and two other families watched it sail away without us. We went back to the office to complain and the woman said “Oh the captain was supposed to call me before he left!”
Another Sebago worker grumbled to us “ Your supposed to arrive 30 minutes before departure.” However, like the waiver registration, we were never told this by anyone. I suppose this is one of the risks of booking through a second party.
However we were told we will receive a partial refund in the next few days.
As for the trip itself, it was fine. The visibility wasn’t too good that day. I’ve seen more just by snorkeling off the beach at Fort Zachary. But the crew made the experience fun and includes free beer and soft drinks.
Soif you do go, I’d contact the operation directly to obtain all necessary details.
