The trolley is especially useful to learn your way around. But when you aren't able to get back on at a stop because of overcrowding, and have to wait another half hour, it's a total bummer, and a waste of time and money.

Great food and shopping experience. Lots of history from civil war to Hemingway. Younger persons place for nightlife etc.

This rating applies to an individual tour guide and not the trolley tour in general; which I believe would normally be a very enjoyable way to see and learn more about the history of Key West. It began to rain while we were on the trolley. Not hard at first and our trolley driver, Aaron came back and rolled down the plastic shields on one side of the bus saying he would leave the other side open for ventilation. We were unfortunately seated on the “ventilated” side. When it began to rain in earnest and blow into the trolley someone called out and asked if we could roll down the remaining protectors. Aaron replied with a quick, sharp “NO!” It was only when it became a true deluge and we were jumping out of our seats to escape the drenching that he agreed to lower them and several passengers pitched in to help. At this point we were all soaked and there were puddles on the seats. I really think this could have been handled better with better attention to passengers comfort.

Hello, Please accept our apologies for the experience you had with our CASTmember. I have forwarded your comments to the General Manager for his review. He has assured me that Aarons sharp tone was prompted by his concern for the safety of the guests standing on the wet vehicle floor while in motion. I am certain you have also been placed in a situation where you were responsible for another's safety and a dangerous situation has compelled you to react by speaking abruptly out of fear of failing your responsibilities. Aaron's quick, sharp “NO!” was a reaction prompted by the possibility of injury to a guest. He quickly followed up with the statement he would lower the isinglass at the next stop that was two minutes ahead. Be assured Aaron was not devaluing anyone's discomfort or ignoring the fact the rain was coming into the vehicle. He was , in fact, placing great value on everyone's safety and well being. I am sure you would agree, it only takes a second to make a mistake that impacts a lifetime. Our motto, 'Safety First, Courtesy a Close Second' is something we practice everyday. We hope you will forgive Aarons tone and appreciate his good intentions.
