My 14-year-old son and I went took a SNUBA trip with SNUBA Key West. I didn't particularly enjoy it: I was (probably unnecessarily) stressed out about possible dangers, and I didn't enjoy being tethered to a raft with several other people, limiting my mobility and sometimes getting a bit tangled up. But I'm giving them five stars because I think the trip was well-run, and the problems I had might not be problems for others. My son, for example, thought the SNUBAing was a lot of fun. The instruction given seemed adequate and was presented in an entertaining way, although I think it would have been good to better explain that continuously breathing was important not just to get air, but also to avoid problems during ascent. The team did a good job of making sure that while one group of six people was SNUBAing, the rest of the people were snorkeling, and they provided plenty of non-alcoholic drinks. The reef they brought us to had plenty of colorful fish to see, so I would have enjoyed the trip if I had stuck to snorkeling; YMMV.
