Trip wasn’t very good. Emily had a big attitude from the beginning and wasn’t welcoming at all. Diane was great. The equipment was faulty -my bc was ripped where you bite and only hanging in by a thread. When I first called, I specifically asked about the boat as one of my friends is sensitive to rolling seas in smaller boat. When we arrive, we were told the large cat boat was broken and we would be going on the 22 ft. 7 of us made it a bit tight with all the equipment. We drive about 10 minutes and swam in brown water about 10 feet from the ledge. A few fish, a lobster and brown water. The water wasn’t that deep so you constantly hit eachother of the bottom. Always tangled in lines. Emily did nothing to make us feel comfortable. She’s not very engaging and just has a rude undertone
I did the scuba at lost reef adventures before (beginner scuba day course) and it was absolutely awesome. Beautiful water, patient instructors and seemed much easier than this. More individual freedom instead of being tethered , but still swimming with a group. If you are doing this as an introduction to scuba, I recommend to just do the scuba. It was awesome. This was not worth it to me, and Emily’s attitude pushed it over the edge.
