My wife and I just took our third trip to Key West this past week (early March 2019), and on each trip we have gone on the sunset cruise aboard the America 2.0 We are repeat customers because they are consistently excellent. The boat is a replica of the very first America's Cup champion from the 1850s, but made with modern day materials. It is easily the fastest sailboat out there, and several times we could sail right past another vessel like the Appledore or the Jolly Rover, then turn about, sail behind them, then come about again and sail past them again--literally sailed a circle around them! At least 5 knots per hour faster than any other sailboat in KW. So that part is fun for me, but the hors devoures (spelling?) that they serve are yummy--big chilled shrimp with cocktail sauce that are already peeled for you, and you don't just get one or two, we got about eight shrimp for the two of us to share. They also served veggies with ranch dressing, smoked gouda cheese along with a Spanish cheese I can't remember the name of, white cheddar, and crackers. For beverages, your choose between about 4 types of cold beer, or 4 types of wine, or soft drinks or water.
The crew is friendly and efficient, and the captain will let you take the wheel and steer for a photo-op if you want. You can see a gorgeous sunset in KW most evenings, but instead of the crowds and the freak-show at Mallory Square every evening, you should go first-class and take the America 2.0. You won't regret the $200 you spend on it.
