Our Durango Jeep tour travels up La Plata Canyon, a rugged ravine nestled in an alpine paradise.

Here in this glacially sculpted landscape, you’ll find waterfalls cascading into the canyon, hallways of glimmering aspens, countless wildflowers, wildlife scurrying between the meadows, and panoramic views of Colorado's most beautiful Rocky Mountains. Like we said, paradise!

Our fun-loving and experienced guides are Durango locals, who know this canyon's rich history and ecology like nobody else. While other outfitters tend to let the scenery do all the work for them, our guides give you a wealth of insight about what makes this area incredibly special. They're also talented drivers who will get you up this rutted trail without a hitch.

Most people don't want to take their own vehicles up this old mining route, and our open-air Jeeps are customized for a smoother ride— although it will still be bumpy about half way through. It's all a part of the fun!

My mom and I really enjoyed our trip. We saw some beautiful waterfalls along the way and the scenery at the top was breath taking. Jerry, our tour guide operator, was excellent. We were able to make some stops and took some really nice pics. We will be back for additional tours.

My favorite part of the adventure was meeting our tour guide Tosh! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about our surroundings he taught me a few things that I didn't even know about Colorado and I was born here. He was also very safe, super fun and I would recommend him to all my friends! 10 out of 10

I wasn't sure about this, but it was a great trip. The kids loved it. Beautiful scenery and Miles, our driver was very knowledgeable. Beautiful wild flowers. I would go again. If you have neck or back problems, I would not advise because it is a bumpy ride...kids couldn't get enough.
