Has learning to surf been your dream? It’s a good one to have, and the calm waters of La Jolla Shores is the best spot to learn! Our experienced instructors are eager to share their passion for surfing with beginners and intermediates alike - no experience necessary, all equipment provided.

Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water. You’ll have fun learning how to surf in a safe environment!

All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.

My two sons and I had an awesome time learning to surf with instructor, Jake. The water was very comfortable to be in with the wet suits and we all managed to get up on the boards and ride some of the waves 😊

Surfer Instructor Jake was great. Patient, calm and knowledgeable. He got this middle-aged tubby dude up and riding a couple of waves in an hour. Very easy-going, amiable and you can tell he enjoys his job and enthusiastic to work with people teaching them something he loves to do himself.

We took our teens to do this while in town (13, 16, 19) and we are not sure who loved it more - them or us! Would definitely do again.
