I have been seeing different versions of Legends in different venues for 3 decades now. I estimate over 30 different shows, and what they all have in common (in the past) is that out of the five act, three were usually great, one was average and one was poor. This has been the case almost every time....until now. This was the strongest Legends show I have seen in 25 years. Every single act was absolutely outstanding.
In addition to the amazing talent, the last 25 minutes of the show was one of the best Christmas shows in Branson. The joyous holiday songs, sang exactly as the tribute artists in character would sing them. The surprise at the end was just the icing on the cake.
The Garth performer was so spot-on that the elderly lady sitting in front of us got into an argument with her husband about if it was the real Garth showing up to surprise everyone. She even went up and asked the performer if it was really him. She would not believe him until he took off his hat and she looked at his profile...just to determine he was too young to be Garth.
I cannot even pick a favorite tribute artist as they were all fantastic. Garth was sensational, he sounded just like him with all of the mannerisms of the real Garth. Having Tricia Yearwood join him just like the real couple was an outstanding idea. They sang so wonderfully together and the videos were fun to watch. When they came out to meet the audience, Garth was warm and real, and the Tricia character was bored and rolled her eyes....just like the real couple. They don't usually appear together I understand...but think they always should. He is the star and she compliments his performance greatly.
The Blues Brothers did not show up (I think that was why the show was delayed 15 minutes) but the surprise appearance of Kenny Chesney was fabulous. Could have been the real performer, loved the voice, energy and realness. I would have thought a last minute substitute would not have been that good, but he was definately a highlight of the show. I have seen the Blues Brothers numerous times, so did not mind them not being in the show. My friend was disappointed as they were the reason she reallly wanted to go to the show. Once Kenny started singing....she said she was glad the Blues Brothers did not show. He should be one of the main performers (but we don't think Elvis liked him).
Stevie Wonder was perfection. The voice and actions, spot on!
Elvis....what can one say about Elvis. My favorite through the years has always been Matt Lewis. Never found one in the same league....until last night. This Elvis was awesome. Voice, looks, everything! This is the Elvis to see!
After seeing some of the newer acts added to some Legend shows....like Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, a couple of hip-hop artists and a terrible Taylor Swift....the show was deleted as a "must see". This caliber of talent, energy and fun has brought it back to the top of the list.

Thank you for the very nice review! We're happy to read that you enjoyed all of the show. Yes, unfortunately due to an illness, Todd Bradshaw (as Kenny Chesney) was brought in at the last minute. We agree with you, he is amazing as well as Ryan Pelton as Elvis. We hope you'll come see us again!
