We stayed at the Lego hotel on Legoland and also went to the park yesterday.
1. Not worth the money. Two nights at the hotel for over $1500. You’d think awesome accommodations at that price but nope. No microwave, no phone to call a front desk (if one exists, it’s a virtual checkin), and a AC thermostat that is locked. They have this weird little google iPad that is suppose to be an assistant, but it’s useless and cumbersome.
2. Park is boring. My kids are 3 and 5 and there was nothing here that got them excited or stimulated. There is very little interaction with all the Lego structures. Most Lego structures are not that big or inspiring, and looks more like a 1980’s Christmas drummer boy set where some beat up little figures dance around in a waste of money charade.
3. A few rides are available, but get ready to wait 30-60min per ride. My kids had rather just played in a small Lego pit in the lobby of the hotel, the highlight of the day.
4. Once you get to the bottom of the hill, there is no lift or elevator to get you back up, so have fun slugging two kids and heavy stroller back up the big hill.
