I am originally from a town nearby Legoland, but now live in DE. As avid amusement park goers, while visiting NY last Monday, my husband and I were very excited to bring our 2.5 year old to Legoland for his first amustment park experience. The rides looked awesome and adorable! Unfortunately, even though it was a Monday, the loading and unloading of each ride seemed very inefficient and slow. I know safety is important and checks are necessary, but the process was a lot slower as compared with other amusement parks. As a result, even though we were there from 10AM-4PM, we rode 4 total rides, which were all very fun- but didnt feel like we got our money's worth. The line to get a hot dog from a stand also took 45 minutes. I will say that we DID love the 4 we went on, but we don't plan to return or to recommend this park to other friends due to this lack of efficiency, which is a bummer. The park has so much potential to be awesome.
