Whale watching in the wild and pristine waters of Icy Strait, where Humpback whales are abundant and sighted on every trip, with small business owner Captain Josh! Otter and Steller Sea Lions are also very common, with Orcas, Brown Bears, and other wildlife frequently sighted!

Owned and operated by our own Captain Josh, he will be your personal guide as he navigates the wilderness waters of Icy strait. What makes his tours special is the energy he has and the creative ways he finds to show you his beloved wildlife, so that you can really see and appreciate these creatures with him, and to make every tour amazing.

His 14 passenger vessel was designed specifically for whale watching on Alaska's waters, and will provide a safe and stable viewing platform for you. He also provides the one truly Drone-integrated whale watching tour in the world, providing you with views and videos of wildlife that are truly unique, and at the end of it, you get to take the footage from your tour home!

Book this tour! It is the coolest whale watching tour you can imagine, and Capt. Josh’s drone footage makes the whale watching experience so much more fun and interesting. Capt. Josh was wonderful - he shared lots of interesting information about the whales and sea life. We were so impressed with the care and respect he showed for all of the animals we saw along the way. The tour is the perfect small size so that everyone has an amazing view from either inside or outside (whichever you prefer), and everyone can ask questions. We saw whales, sea lions, otters, and so much more! The camera on his drone is absolutely incredible, giving up close views of wildlife you wouldn’t otherwise get to see. If you’re traveling on a cruise ship, have zero worries about booking this tour independently. Everything ran perfectly on time, and we were back in plenty of time to get back on board our ship. We love supporting small, local-owned businesses when we travel, and this is one of the best we’ve encountered. We actually booked this tour when the whale watching tour we booked through our cruise line got canceled. We’re so happy we did this tour instead, and it will be the first tour we book when we come back to Alaska. It’s one of the best things we did on our trip to Alaska!

100% hands down, no question an amazing experience!!!! My boyfriend and I went on a cruise to Alaska and we’re lucky enough to catch a seat on this amazing whale watching tour. We saw so much wildlife including porpoises, stellar seals, otters and humpback whales! Captain Josh has an amazing personality and is a joy to be around. He also is very educational which is a bonus. The boat was very spacious and comfortable as well. The drone footage was spectacular! No other company offers this type of view!!! Super cool to experience. So thankful To Captain Josh for such an amazing experience!
