Excellent guide. No hassle getting there. Amazing canyon! Must do, even children were doing the trail and stairs. Go early or noonish for best sunlight into the canyon for colors and shapes.

You can go directly to the canyon tours for $58 and then drive to Horseshoe Bend right after at anytime and can do it yourself. I wish I had researched this better. Even the guide inside the canyon said I did it all wrong.

Yes, you are right, you may purchase tours individually and transport yourself to each location on your own at a more affordable cost to your wallet. Our focus for our guests is to create a stress-free and hassle-free experience at the Slot Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. After all our guests are on vacation, we are happy to offer complementary hotel/Airbnb pickup service to our guests, and to do all the driving to each location. Without the worry of getting lost or arriving late on your tours. We love to share a more personal and somewhat private tour while sharing cultural history of the Diné while creating a relaxing environment to our guest. Hopefully in the future we will be able to offer more affordable tickets for guest, while maintaining our finest and personal best tour experience to guest.
