What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Our first stop is the Lower Antelope Canyon. – Lower Antelope Canyon is a MODERATE tour for guest. You will hike 1.1 miles from start to finish (1770.27 meters). Upon entering the Canyon, you will descend 74 steps to the bottom of the Canyon. once at the bottom you will hike at a gradual incline towards the exit along with ladders and small stairs into each chamber of the Canyon. You may google LOWER ANTELOPE STAIRS & LADDERS, and you will have a visual of the steps and ladders (5 ladders & 2 small stairs toward the exit). Big Lake Trading Post

After the Lower Antelope Canyon we will stop at a picnic area where you may use the restroom. Additional food and drinks may be purchased at this location.

Horseshoe Bend

The second portion of the tour will be at the Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The Horseshoe Bend is all flat smooth surfaced path. You will hike less than a half mile to the picturesque Overlook (1.5 miles/1770meters roundtrip).

The lower canyon is a must see, roads are little difficult, but it will leave you a unforgettable experience.

I signed my wife an I up for the tour since we're going to be at the Grand Canyon. We were a little apprehensive about it until we were picked up and greeted at our hotel. The owner is a native Navajo Indian and is a great guide sharing information about the area and his people. The Lower Analope Canyon tour is a must see. The guide even gives you some cellphone camera tips. If I was going to do it again I would do th e Upper Analope Canyon tour. You can see Horseshoe Bend on your own. I would recommend Dineh over other tour companies offering the same trip. The small group size is perfect for the canyon tours

This tour was everything I had hoped it would be. The scenery was stunning and our tour guide Dominic from Dineh tours was very knowledgeable about the area and the Navajo nation with personal stories about his grandparents and family experiences.
