Truly enjoyed the entire tour. Tilford was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. We really appreciated him sharing all of his knowledge as well as using his past experiences to make the tours flow even more smoothly.

The ‘tour’ is basically a driver picking you up at the hotel (clean bus and on time) drives you to the Antelope Canyon, hands you over to a native tour guide (who did a fantastic job!), picks you up after the tour, drives you to a non interesting ‘Trading post’ for a break, drives you to Horseshoe Bend where you are being told that this is a self guided tour☹️. Picks you up again and drops you off at hotel 4hrs later. Hardly any information about the local culture, backgrounds and the places we visited. Very disappointing. All this for over USD 1000 for a family of 4. A rip off.

Ahéheé (Thank You) Eva_R, for taking the time to write a review. All feedback is good feedback, we are always happy to hear back from our guest to better improve our tours and guest experience. We do understand initially you were upset at the pre arrival time to enter the Canyon, as the wait time to enter the Canyon does apply to all guest and tour companies. The Lower and Upper Antelope Canyon does require all guest and tour operators to arrive 45 minutes prior to their tour, to which we do take into consideration in creating our tour packages. After speaking with our tour director, it was mentioned he did rush you from the Lower Antelopes giftshop to maintain his tour schedule to which we advised him there was no need to rush you as you were headed to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook afterwards, we do apologize on his behalf. Big Lake Trading Post has been part of the community of Page and was built as a functioning trading post in the early days. The new owners have updated and modernized its location and now offer a full range of snacks and drinks as well as restrooms for guest. Along with trinkets and souvenirs for guest. This allows our guest some time to snack and use the restroom facilities and allows our tour directors to share their personal cultural history of the Diné while creating a relaxing environment to our guest, that is till our guest become rude and impolite. At this point it was noted you became very rude to our tour director and began to speak over him and ignore him and to continue conversating with your group as he was trying to share additional information to with you and your group. The Horseshoe Bend Overlook is not a self-guided tour as you stated, our tour directors walk with you as they share additional information on the botany and land of the area, but you and your group continued to ignore him and walkway from him. It was mentioned he had to run up to your tour group as you did not bother to wait for him, then again, proceeded to ignore him and create an awkward atmosphere for everyone. Yes, you are right you may purchase tours individually and transport yourself to each location on your own at a more affordable cost to your wallet. Our focus is to create a stress-free and hassle-free experience while on vacation. We are happy to do all the driving to each location. Without the worry of getting lost or arriving late to your tours. We do try to give all our guest a memorable experience while on vacation. Again, we do apologize for the delay of the tours and do understand your frustration and dissatisfaction with our tours. Hopefully in the future we will be able to offer more affordable tickets for guest, while maintaining our finest and personal best tour experience to guest. Again, thank you for taking the time to write us a review, and in the meantime, stay healthy and safe.
