My husband and I did the tour separately because we are traveling with our dogs, one of us stayed behind and took care of the puppies while the other toured then we switched (kind of a baby swap). Both our tour guides were amazing, the knowledgeable they had about the canyon and its history was wonderful. They both were great at helping guests obtain good photos with a variety of cameras or phones. The one negative experience both of us had was the lady running the gift shop, she is down right rude. Each of us stopped there for a snack after our tour, she would not even acknowledge we were standing there until we waited 3-4 minutes for her to finish texting someone. Then she was upset when I didn’t have exact change, since the facility does not allow bags of any type I grabbed only some bills and my ID, as I would assume most women do.
