The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Word of warning if buying tickets on Viator through Wannar Travel. Arrived at 11.25am for a 11.45am tour and was told the check in cut off was instead at 10.45am. Nowhere on the ticket and in the instructions was this made clear and there was clearly enough time to allocate us to a group. Then, after getting in touch with Wannar Travel, was told our ticket was voided and there was nothing available for the rest of the day despite us managing to find two spots in the 12.45pm tour...

We had reservations and stayed in Page. Easy 15 minute or less ride to the Canyon. You'd never know it from the surface that such a place exists. Know how to use your camera for 400 ISO and alter the lighting settings for great pics. (we didn't know but they turned out satisfactory. Jarin was our guide. He was excellent! Most groups (of 10) seemed very happy with the guides as we heard lots of applause. Very professional outfit getting a large number of people through a small place. This is an easy walk, not a hike. Do it. It will take your breath away!
