Our cabin is located in Skyline, one of the best aurora viewing spots in Fairbanks, perched on a towering mountaintop far from the city lights. It faces a northern valley where the aurora frequently appears. Multiple outdoor viewing platforms provide ample space for guests to take photos, ensuring everyone enjoys a private, uninterrupted experience while marveling at the northern lights.

Inside the cabin, the flames in the hearth dance joyfully, casting a warm glow on the wooden ceilings and walls, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere. With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, you can admire the graceful dance of the aurora through the large glass windows, feeling as though it’s within reach. Outside, the world is still and silent, with only the aurora sweeping across the sky. The cabin becomes a hidden sanctuary where you are at one with nature, experiencing the profound tranquility and awe of the moment.

Nice lodge and very kind host, got to see an incredible light show and we were able to keep warm in the fire inside the house when the lights weren't out

The pickup and drop off was on time and had some flexibility. Guide contacted us during the day and indicated that the sky was cloudy and KP was low, so that he recommended that we reschedule , which we did. The rescheduled day was quite specular and we got very good pictures. ( only on negative he spoke with his Korean guess all the time in their luggage and we we never really engaged in conversation)

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. They helped with photography and shared interesting insights about the Northern Lights. The lodge was warm and comfortable, and the location was perfect for viewing. Watching the aurora slowly move across the sky was a great experience and the highlight of the tour. Overall, a great experience for anyone wanting a relaxed and well-organized way to see the Northern Lights!
